Sorry in advance for the mountain of questions!

Who on here uses them? Are they any good?

Have heard a lot about them, but never seen one in action.

Is there a brand that's better than the rest?

Pros/Cons and experiences would be much appreciated!

Thank you xx

Treeless saddles like anything else work for some and not for others.

Some makes (like treed saddles) are better than others.

I have an old Heather moffett treeless saddle, I love it, very comfortable for me and as far as I know for my horse.

I wouldn't touch the cheap imported treeless saddles, but then I wouldn't touch a cheap imported treed saddle either.

i have a Barefoot treeless and for me and my pony it suits us very well - i have seen people buy the cheaper imported ones and lets say - you get what you pay for, torsion saddles do a try before you buy thing for not a lot of money considering

What she said, I have a HM for my oder boy and it suits him and his dippy back but wouldn't dream of using it on the young horse.

I have one for my TB and she seems happy with it, but we tried three different types of treeless saddles before we found this one which suits her.

As with treed, different designs of 'treeless' saddle suit differing horse shapes, etc.

I would say stick to the better brands which offer a trial service (and pressure test it) before you buy, and avoid the budget imported stuff. :-)

Hi,

I ride a Hilason treeless and it works wonders on my Arabian mare. I love it and he is happy with it too. It was hard to find a saddle for him, but my friend told me about Hilason and i tried it out. I absolutely loved it. Very comfortable. best part is that treeless saddles are not hard or stiff. And they form into my mare's back. Their padded seats are amazing

I used a Swedish treeless dressage saddle on my horse the other day, provided by my instructor. It was super comfortable for me but my horse hated it - however given time for her to get used to it who knows.
