I thought about getting a treeless saddle for my very wide cob and have been investigating the prospect. I have to say i have never heard so much bull talked by so many people. What is it about horsey people that it takes them an hour to describe something that that should take 2 minutes. I am going to do my own thing from now on as my eyes are now completely glazed over.

Okay, right, I shall make a note to remind myself not to spend a bit of time responding to your posts and private messages asking me for my thoughts then, on a subject I happen to know a bit about.

I think you are right, perhaps you should just do your own thing ...

.

Maybe you shouldn't ask for advice if you're going to completely discount everything that you're told (I appreciate one has to occassionally take things with a pinch of salt), and to be so condescending of the people who offer you help...

What an unpleasant post! I just saw your original post and I am not sure why you are complaining! People went to the trouble of responding to you, despite the fact that there are millions of posts on treeless saddles on here that you could have accessed by using the search function!

Have a nice nap.

Oh please lighten up everyone i do appreciate the responses but take a look at yourselves one says this another says that and the issue is then completely and utterly complicated. Believe it or not i have consulted experts outside this forum and that is what i was meaning but didnt explain it very well so please dont be so thin skinned wake up and smell the coffee the world is still rotating on its axis.

Still coming off as unnecesarily unpleasant I am afraid.

Why are you unhappy you got different opinions? What did you expect? Were we all supposed to get together and reach an agreement before answering you? If you have consulted people you consider experts you presumably have your own opinion, so why are you asking the forum?

See why you come across as unpleasant?

LOL I'm far from being thin-skinned, I just think your post was unnecessarily rude and ungracious.

You could ask for opinions on any innovative product and you would, surely, expect to get differences of opinion.

However, if people took the time and trouble to reply to your queries in some detail, whether on or off this forum, I would have thought you could have been a little more grateful

If you don't want advice then don't ask. As with everything in the equestrian world, there will always be differences of opinion. It is up to you to read through and take aboard what you think may be relevant, then seek professional help from someone who can actually come and see your horse. We can only give our own personal thoughts and experiences.
