Very sad, he always seemed like such a lovely man.

A very sad day for racing. Mr Hemmings was a wonderful man, had a great eye for a horse and enjoyed every moment of his horses racing. He will always be the King of Aintree from an owners angle.

So sad, years ago some of his horses were in training on the yard I worked at, he was always really nice and friendly when he came to see them.
