Tri zone training BE Events

I did the one at West wilts in september. It was great fun and really well organised.
There was a BE trainer watching our dressage test and afterwards she gave helpful tips on how to improve and gain higher marks.
There was a course walk for the SJ with another BE trainer and then she watched our round and gave helpful advice afterwards.
XC there was a trainer at the start who was available to answer any questions.
The XC course was great with lots of questions but in miniature. The training class course had more questions than the intro on that day!
I came 6th and won a pair of trizone brushing boots which i was really chuffed with.
The whole day was really good fun and helpful with lots of friendly people there to help.
I would certainly recommend them as a start to BE.
My boy did his first intro last week and came 6th in that too so i reckon the training class set us up well for it.

Hi i did 2 training events this year with my 5 yr old Hannoverian, the first at Mattingley which was his first ever xc event and i thought it was quite tough for a baby horse especially after i did the one at West Wilts which i though was smaller!

These events were well run and organised and the prizes were super i have a lovely full set of Tri Zone brushing boots for being placed!

The BE trainers were helpful and i would really recommend doing the training classes - the youngster did his first Riding Club Novice Hunter Trail last week going clear and our team won and qualified for the champs so i think he has had a good grounding in seeing all the different types of fences at the training events we attended.

I had a couple of friends who did the training class at Ascott under Wychwood and this was smaller than Mattingley apparently!

Good luck for your competitions.
