Sorry If I am being a bit thick here. What is the procedure when you trial a bit. Do you keep it and pay the balance if you are happy with it.

It depends on the bit bank you are trialling / hiring from
The horse bit shop who I certainly do not recommend allow you to pay after the trial
The horse bit bank who I do recommend ask you to pay up front and then refund the difference if you return the bit before the end of the hire period
