I finally got my life sorted out and contacted several people regarding a working pupil placement. One very nice lady (event rider) has contacted me back and invited me for a trial day. Now all my excitement has turned to sheer terror
She's asked me to bring my riding stuff and i'm dreading it, i'm not the most confident rider (not nervous, more lack of confidence in my ability) and I'm so so nervous about being asked to ride and forgetting everything I know and turning into a numpty/beginner and making myself look like a right tit. (definitely a serial overthinker!)
Has anyone 'been there done that'? Or any advice for making a good first impression and making the most of the day?!
