I'm selling my 14.1 pony and had someone come to look at her, they want her for hunting and so would like to see her out, the thing is that there is only a few dates that I can make and the ones I can the lady interested is away. She phoned up earlier and asked if she could take her out when I'm at ODE ,Pip is fine out hunting but not sure how she would react to another trailer, so what do you recomend that I do?
thanks char x

I personally wouldnt, not because of the horses reaction, but more because you dont really know the woman... She could floor her for the day, or an accident could happen. Worst case scenario, she could get injured, then your stuck with a lame horse....

I wouldn't let my horse go hunting at all until it was bought! Far too risky. Let them pop it round a xc course (supervised). After all, if she gets injured, who will have to foot the bill!

If it is the only option, insist that you are there and that they have to get her vetted first to prove they are interested in her. Do you hunt her? Can they phone up the fieldmaster or someone for a reference?

I think that this is a very cheeky request. Agree with DieselDog - get a reference for the pony. If either the pony or rider got injured - where would you stand.

If she wants to see her out - she will have to rearrange her dates.
