I have a rather large bottom - I cant lie!!!
Do you know of any tricks/tips on hiding a huge area that is beneath my dressage waistcoat, only made to look worse by hideous white jodhpurs.
Does anyone use a 'belly band' in a dark colour to camouflage the blindingly white massive lump that lies upon the saddle and below the bottom of a jacket / waistcoat???
thankyou ):

Also in the same boat! I've gone up two dress sizes in the last year and now cringe at myself in my competition gear. Perhaps shapewear will do the trick..

I think the jackets that are cut more like short tail coats are quite flattering - but I do think its a case of trying them on when you are sat down as if in a saddle rather than standing up. Mine looks fine when I'm standing up but I don't like catching sight of myself in the mirrors wearing it!

Yes I have a fab wool hunt coat which is longer and a lot more flattering even though my others aren’t particularly short either.

When you say waistcoat is it just the waistcoat? I can’t think of a way round that so prob just wouldn’t

I was going to suggest a hunt coat as they have a flattering, longer skirt. Great for winter dressage but they may be a bit hot to wear at this time of year 🥵

Oh! The skimpy little jackets that are all the fashion now are horrendous on anyone of even normal proportions! My very slight grandchildren look stunning in theirs but normal people need a decent traditional jacket as suggested by TFF.
Good luck, start searching!

You have no idea if she's even overweight. Lots of women of a healthy weight think they have a massive bottom.

Kim Kardashian isn't fat, she just has a huge backside.

Small men’s jacket? Second hand older style? Mine was second hand and reaches down to the saddle.

Beige breeches can be more flattering than white also.
