So, I know I have been going on alot lately (stop the booing and hissing!) but this morning someone said they had the perfect horse for me.
16.1hh, 4 yr old bright bay, selle francais gelding that had just come over this week.
Oh right I said. (I saw one last week and didnt like the look so didnt try it!!) so assumed this would be another horse that was mediocre!! well, I looked over the stable door to see this strapping lad (his grand sire is JaliscoB). LOVE at first sight! so they said do I want to try him and I said YEEEEEEEEEEEES!
so off I went to ride this baby and what a great head he has on him! he was not fazed by anything. Im so used to riding a small horse with shorter strides that I felt abit weird but the little lad helped me out and kept on coming with the goods.
We had a little jump and he was just perfect for me!! I really did adore him so I am off to watch him at weston tomorrow compete in a class and will see how I feel about him. He had to have a nice name to pass the pete test and tick all the boxes and it might not be everyones cup of tea but his name is ...
Pitch. I really like him! Its all so scary!!!!

My Selle Francais mare has Jalisco B as her grand sire too on both sides. She is a darling great to handle, honest and very very clever. Do you know anything else about his breeding he sounds lovely!!

I saw the french passport and there was a buleot or something on his dam side, it rings a bell but I may be off mark, what got me was his fantastic attitude to everything even nervous OH and how he help me out! very honest

Thats a Selle Francais for you. Mine is only 3 and was unhandeld till nov last year. She has taken most things in her stride nothing fazes her in the slightest. She is the bay in my sig!!
Have you got any piccies?

I will take some tomorrow of him jumping and just generally being him. he is very pretty but well built and will grow a little, he just needs some time out in the field and to come along nicely and I see the potential...even non horsey OH does.

Good luck and I hope all goes well. Can't wait to see piccies is he bay?
How big is he? Sorry about all the questions but i'm just interested to see how my girlie wil be in a years time!!!
With Jalisco B in his lines he's bound to have a superb jump on him!!!
