As some of you know i have been having saddle problems. I have now managed to get a refund on the Bates i bought, so yesterday i tried a Freestyle treeless dressage saddle.
Very strange feeling to start with as you sit so much closer to the horse. but my girl relaxed and then Wow! Lovely feeling and she really started using her back and suddenly she was even in both reins and i could control everything off the seat.
So, im going to order one (very expensive) but once it arrives you can try it for a week and if you dont like it can go back and you get a full refund. Anyone else tried them yet?

My sister did...

Hi V

You know I love my treeless!!

Have heard other bad reports about the Torsion, our new livery tried one to compare it to the Solution and she says it was awful in comparison!

Be carefull- have tried a lot and my trainer has tried a lot and the general consensous is that they are fantastic at first but in a few months their backs were wrecked and the physio told us to get rid of them due to the uneven pressure points created by all treeless saddles

I agree with you Forrest and think they are awful.
What I don't understand is why they are so popular for endurance?
