Tried loose ring waterford bit and horse hated it !!

We had one mare an IDx who went beautifully in a waterford fulmer with cheek loops out hunting as otherwise she leaned on her losenge snaffle. And a welshie who went beautifully in a straight mouth Pelham with roundings or in a rubber gag with leather cheekpieces.

Unless you have access to lots of bits or a bitbank its sometimes hard to find the right one. Hope you do so soon...

Hunted this morning in French link full cheek again, slower day but although a little forward in first canter (just keen to keep up with horse in front, no overtaking) good in second canter and more settled on what was his third outing. Will continue with French link for now me thinks! How is everyone else getting on?
