I need to find someone to trim a horse in the Oxshott/Esher area. The catch is he is in a field and there is nowhere to bring him in, although the field is dry, easily accessed and the horses in it are unconcerned by activity. The horse is good to do, it's a straightforward job, and there will be an experienced handler with a flexible schedule who is happy to pay for decent work. :)

The person who was doing him is further south and too busy to come for only a trim, which is perfectly understandable. There are other horses in the field so the possibility of more work in the future but no guarantees.

Happy with someone less experienced as it's such a straightforward job and if I'm happy with the service I will cheerfully promote him/her. :)

Thoughts? Anyone in the area use someone I could piggyback an appointment with?

Thank-you!

I can understand why most blacksmiths don't want to know so am hoping trimmers might be more amenable. There is someone who comes to do the others but the horse in question is off their schedule by a big amount and trying to get them in synch seems to involve more drama than it really should! ;) I figure I might as well look at the options.
