My Liveryman Element trimmers have finally bitten the dust after about 6 or 7 years of hard graft. They stopped charging a few months ago but I've been muddling through by using them plugged in. Sadly, as of today, even plugged in they're so short on power it took me nearly a whole back breaking hour to do M's legs - only a bit of regrowth since end of Jan so not even that much hair!
I'd happily have another pair but just wondering if things have moved on in the cordless trimmer world and whether there are any other options now? They are just for trimming rather than clipping but they work fairly hard dealing with two big horses, both with a fair bit of feather (one IDxcob and one TBxSec DxShire - the legs are definitely shire!) trimminng the accompanying beards and levelling off tails after I've hacked at them with scissors.
Don't mind spending a decent amount to get a reliable and long lasting set.
