Can anyone recommend a trimmer (qualified and insured, if such a thing exists! Basically not someone who learned via the Internet!) In Shropshire please?
Horse's shoes have been off for about a month while he's been on holiday. I tend to have him in and put of shoes depending on work and what suits me. Have always used farrier but he insists on trimming frog and sole (when horse is unshod) then is surprised when horse is sore... I'd quite like to see if I can keep him without shoes, for a good while at least though am happy to shoe if it doesn't suit him. I think I need the opinion of someone other than farrier as horse doesn't wear his feet evenly (does any horse 100%?!) so i'd like them properly balanced to suit him rather than trimmed just to look pretty and correct.
Thank you
