recommend me the best trimmers!

but be cordless
and must come with guards

i tidy manes with him (hogged horses), chins, legs, and general tidying up

currently using a cheap pair from e of bay and they are dying and i cant buy new blades for them

I had Liveryman Elements which were ok at first but didn't last long (they wouldn't hold a charge after the first year), the selfsharpening blade head is no such thing, and a new one isn't cheap. I went back to using £10 cordless cheapies from Lidl/Asda and I'd get at least two years out of them.

I have a pair of Elements and I really rate them! I've had them for three years, and have had to buy new blade heads about once a year (approx £25). I regularly use them to hog, get awkward places like armpits and crotches, clip hairy legs and small clips (bib clip for example), but have occasionally used them to do a full clip without issue. I also use them to even out some of the dodgy patches after I've been over with the Liberty's.
I did have an issue within the first year where they would drop power and not clip when the blades met the coat, but got it fixed under warranty and no issues since.

The Lister Allegra look good and Im thinking of buy a pair to clip my mare's head. Has anyone got a pair and could let me know what you think of them. Thanks.

I have the Masterclip ones, I think they've consistently come out top in a few consumer comparisons.
I've even done a full clip on a pony with mine!
