Trimming feathers

Every week I get my metal comb and scissors out to trim my boys feathers, I was wondering if anyone could recommend any wireless clippers which would also do the job well? As the scissors and comb technique takes too long!

I've just bought these and they managed my boy's feathers well. I think it would totally depend on how thick and coarse the hair is though, they're not very heavy duty but my lad's not a very hairy beastie!

[Under-the-radar]

It depends a bit on your horses legs and also on how good you are with your clippers! I have a fairly fine haired horse but I can still trim her feathers with my main clippers without leaving lines. If your horse has fairly heavy feathering, then I would get normal clippers on them as smaller trimmers will struggle if they are heavy. You just need to learn to fade out of the clipped section into the rest of the leg hair!
