Trip to A+E tomorrow :(

so last weekend after not riding our mare all week we decided stupidly lets go on a stubble field for a gallop :P well we got going and she was really fab nice paces moving well. Then suddnely she thought hey you know what would be fun lets drop our shoulder and buck ! I was unseated and managed to fly over her should (laughing all the way) my mum filmed it aswell. Because she is a little fat cob her buck were disapointing she looks like a rocking horse ;D anyhow must of landed funny and now my legs is bruised from my knee to my toes :P I got back on afterwards and made her do it aain (perfectly) but now im in agony :( So tomorrow we are going A+E to check it out. Silly little pony the funny thing is you could stick your gran on her and she would be perfect just was excited bless.

Whats the worst fall you guys have had ?? :)
 
Why wait until tomorrow? Sounds painful, hope you mend quickly.

The worst fall I ever had was over xc fences, with the pony somersaulting and me landing underneath him. Broke arm, leg, ribs and teeth. This was in the days of elastic on cork hard hat, so no back protector.

I am at 6th form today cant afford to miss any lesson so im hobbling about :P and tonight it will be very busy so going to go in the morning hopefully.

Good god you put my little accident to shame ! That must be terrifying i do hope both you and the horse are ok now. That is my worst fear a horse falling on me :(
 
Just for the record, if you go pretty much straight after school or work it will be less busy than a Sat morning when all the mornings sports people are in with their random injuries.

Also not to scare you but big painfull bruising can be VERY serious, more serious than breaking something. I would definitely go today!

I suspect that the pony is long dead - this accident happened about 40 years ago! lol!! :D

The problem then is after sorting horse out i wont be ready till gone 8 and then i will be there till about 11 :P haha But i shall see


And oh great :( hahah my foot didnt have a bruise on it but is now going purple/black so i dont think something is quite right plus the skin is numb :/

Get yourself sorted out pronto. Hopefully it is just bruising and nothing more serious.

I am hobbling about having hamstrung myself yesterday, what did I do? Fell over the damned kitten in the barn - kind of horse related in a way.

I usually re-fracture my shoulder when I fall off.

Yes on my shin which usually is nerve damage basically we think when landing i smacked my boot from my other foot off my shin :P as the dopey mare just kind of stood there like "oh did i do that ?" so didnt stand on me or anything but yes it is abit worrying :P Didnt think anything of it at the time as i got straight back on.

oh dear ! and bless you my cats good at that diving right where you put your foot or standing behind you. I just think they like to see us in pain ;)
