Trivial Pony Question

Sorry if this is stupid or irrelevant, but what the heck is a "Blood Pony"?

I've heard the term everywhere, and I googled it, but I couldn't get an answer, apart from a strange band called My Little Blood Pony.

Can someone tell me, I'm really curious!

It is a well bred pony with a significant amount of thoroughbred blood.

Well, a blood horse, as I understand it is something with TB in it ...... how much, I don't know.
I assume a blood pony is something similar.

I have an inkling that it means a pony with largely Thoroughbred breeding?

Thanks, that clears it up. i know it's not important, but i get so annoyed when i can't find something out.

So it's a thoroughbred or mostly thoroughbred 14.2hh or under, yes?

I don't think it has to be totally thoroughbred but would have a proportion of the breed and look like a quality pony.
