TROI!!! More rule interpretation needed!

Noticed on the BD site the rule regarding Unaffiliated and Affiliated being run together.... am I correct in saying that the unaff section has to be judged seperately from the affiliated section? There are a few venues round here that run both together but its noted on the scoreboard as Unaff or Aff.... Am I right in thinking that a different judge will have to judge them? and that all the unaff's go first in one group then the affiliated???
A few of the venues are still advertising for next year running both!

Sounds as if you are right - the BD rule amendments say :
"If an unaffiliated class is run at an affiliated show, the class must be run and judged separately from any equivalent affiliated class".

I also have a rule question and cant find this on the website (have lost my rule book

Thats ok you could have hijacked it.....

Wondered because Witham Villa Leicestershire and Vale View leicestershire both have them running together.... so wondered if this would stop that?

Weston Lawns did them together last week but there are so few entries, at the moment, that having seperate classes would be silly.They did give seperate rossettes though

The unaffiliated must be seen to be run as a separate class. They can have the same judge, as long as the judge has been asked and agreed to judge the unaffiliated.

All the organsier has to do is put all the unaffiliated competitors together, then all the affiliated ones with a short break between for the judge if the same person.
