Trolls with limited horse knowledge and less intelligences!

Okay, but the fact is her OP stated she was told that the horse drank too much water. When asked from peeps to clarify who told her this and how much water horse was drinking etc, was it s sudden increase etc

The OPs reply was that she came up at lunchtime hoping that somebody had given horse water but didn't know (and frankly didn't seem to care) she never went so far as to answer genuine questions just went off on a tangent giving us useless information that would get people hot under the collar - you cannot tell me thats not a wind up (and yes I do know people who used to swan up late on a weekend)

Honestly would you really give that much detail about what time you turned up etc with a flippant attitude. There really would be no need apart from riling people. Think about it

Never mind the previous posts.

Btw , I'm not shouting Troll, but I am saying that I would put money on the fact these posts are a wind up. I don't normally get involved with these Troll threads, just read them sniggering to myself, but peeps started getting bothered by the horse being locked away 24/7 with OP swanning up not knowing or caring about said horse, so before it grew legs with everyone getting over excited I thought I'd put my opinion that I didn't believe it for a sec

Also the fact that if one post is getting genuine helpful advice OP pops up with another odd thread :D

Apart from the username (which TBH I ignored at 1st as wayyy to obvious), and even on the bizarre post where she admits not going to her horse till lunchtime (as it has hay/feed given in morning), which I initially put down to piss poor stable management as she had claim she was a 1st time owner. The game was up when she posted about actually owning a pony since October last year.

If you are going to spin a yarn, then it's best to remember the one you told before. ;)

To be fair, 12 weeks prior to that post WAS approx October. She has bought a pony, and a horse, seemingly in quite quick succession.

To those talking of magically grtowing horses, the 17.2 she talks about is her friend's horse. People do need to actually read posts rather than just jump on the troll frenzy bandwagon

I really don't think she is a troll. I thin she's a very novice owner who doesn't realise that horses usually mean early starts.

I don't think the stable management? thing is that unbelievable. There is a horse in livery on my friend's yard and she barely ever checks on him. He's not been ridden since last weekend and no show again today.
He's got problems with mud fever and had a lot of discomfort when his back shoes were taken off But if she cares, which she seems to, it does not translate into actual care and attention.
Sad as he's a lovely horse and loves being cuddled and stroked. :(

Didn't the OP say that her horse's passport name is her user name? Not keen on it either but it is possible.

I just find it hard to believe that many people plan a silly name then think, what can I do to wind up other users? But there are lots who talk all manner of tosh, often trying to impress.

Why has HHO allowed someone to sign up with that name

Have to agee with you.

Gives an impression of some who is unlikely to take avdice, so why bother giving any.

Just caught up and red the water thread. Get it now.

That has to be made up

She has a horse called Nonya as in Nonyafnbusiness (which if said in an irish accent is apparently funny). Im pretty sure that if I bought a horse of that name the first thing I'd do is change it. Not then also have it as my username.
Maybe she's not a troll but come on, it is so ridiculous it has to be a wind-up.

Might get my head bashed for this....but I have just read ALL of her threads and to be honest I don't think she is a troll.

Most of what she has said rings alarm bells, but then again I have seen this sort of stable management practiced in real life many times. In my opinion she is a new horse owner, who has neither the knowledge or experience to take care of one sufficiently - and thinks that by asking naive and thoughtless questions on a forum will take care of her problems.

As for the daughters pony, she said that she bought it in October last year, which I'm assuming means 2012, the same month she bought the horse for herself. So not sure why this is being seen as a confusion. And also the 16.2hh and the 17.2hh are different horses from what I have gathered?

I can see where the 'troll' label has come from, but I think recently it's becoming harder and harder to differentiate between a true 'troll' and the countless amounts of new users that don't have the first clue about horse care and management.

Just my opinion......:)

Strange though that she hasn't been back on to deny it!

If a new poster started a thread saying any of the following-
a) I've just bought my kids a pony each for xmas, where do you buy the saddle things & the reins? Also when I say gee-up it doesn't go faster & she wanted one that runs, how do I train it for xmas?
b) I'm having problems with a bunch of nasty women on my yard & ym has taken their side. I'm on grass diy & was busy, then on holiday for a few weeks so not been up for 6wks, & they are all being off with me. Even though my rent was paid when I went up there today the ym was being horrid too. It's not like the horse hurt itself in that time. Ok, maybe a small graze but it hardly killed ym to be putting blue spray on for a few days. Why are they all making snide comments about my horsecare?
c) I have just bought my first horse & its going great, I've learnt loads since I got it, like to always leave it water, the difference between hay & straw, & how to put on a headcollar. But I've read something about colts should be gelded, you explain cos he's a colt & I'm a bit confused. Also, any tips for training it to ride, I've not been on one before but looking forward to us both learning together
d) why is 15 stone too heavy for an underweight, worm ridden, 14.2 very fine pony in its 30's? I think its just lazy, it even tries lying down when the rider gets on.
And many similarly unbelievable stupid things, all of which I'm sure would be called trolls on here, but all the above are things that I have been asked in rl & not exaggerated. Except b where I was one of those being 'off'.

No, apparently a dutch gag & a new browband is the way to go. Then after slagging off everyone from other horse owners, to vets & instructors you eventually abandon it in your rented field, never to be seen again.

I already have her in a dutch gag (bottom ring), but I heard it was best to use 2 x reins so also have a German Hackamore fitted with a crank flash, standing martingale and market harborough (wanted draw reins really but couldn't juggle 3 sets of reins) as if I ever get her going I NEED to be able to stop!;) Obviously I have a bling browband in pink crystals.:)

She seems a bit fussy in her head/mouth....................dunno why..........
