V skilful driving the 1st carriage, the offside horse was very unsettled to start with, particularly after the ridden one of 2 in front napped badly. Mind, the 3rd carriagepair of horses looked blooming strong too!

Nice to see a few riders patting their horses. Those greys are absolutely lush, and so chilled.

Smitten with the ceremonial tack, the bridle with the gold criss-crossing over the poll looks lovely.

Finally, the mounted band - love the drummer horses. That flaxen chestnut that just passed is lush too, really nice type.

Poor soldier, bet he’s so frustrated now.

Outer drum horse looks quite young, not used to clapping but well ridden by the soldier

We're on The Mall, the police had a great round of applause when they unceremoniously carried off the protesters, who got booed by the crowd. I think there were twelve of them. When the police returned they got a standing ovation ????
