Troxel Hats

Hi,

Having read some recent threads and looking at the info on the Mark Davies site I was thinking about giving one of these hats a go (for at home anyway!

) Just have a sizing query and would love some advice from anyone who has one or has tried one. I am generally a 56cm and the small ends at 56 where the medium begins. So is it better to be at the very biggest or very smallest? Will probably have to buy online or at the least order one in somewhere if I can. Thanks!

If you can try one on first - I only say that because lots of people, including me, find Troxels just don't fit the shape of their head, whatever size they happen to be. They're great hats, very high safety standard but definitely only suit a specific shape of head.

I have a small one, and it fits at full stretch, plus 2 clicks in!! I would say in future I would get a medium, but that is because i have a bump on the front of my head - images of frankenstein! and it is more comfy to out hat on loose and wind in.

Bump is a result of being dropped as a baby - makes it a bugger to get a comfy hat!!

Oh I posted about these a couple of weeks ago! BUT I haven't found anywhere locally that sell them, it all seems to be mail order. Did you see my post 'RE: What's the safest type of hat?? This could save your life!" Sounds melodramatic I know but it's interesting reading!

My previous hat was a troxel, and I couldn't wait to change it. Strong but made my head look like a mushroom bomb cloud- Huge and top heavy.
