Errrr.....the sofa and your bed. Job done. Feel sure that greyhound has it all planned anyway.
Already occupied by the canine residents, hence the need for more beds. No floor space for any more sofas, and I draw the line at sleeping on the floor but we have sawn my desk in half and just kept the drawer side to free a corner of the living room and upstairs the empty floor by my OH's single bed will be just large enough! 😀

Ps. paperwork will be done on the dining table From now on.

Clodagh bought secondhand cot matresses on marketplace and used them for her lurcher. People are often happy to give them away as you use a new one even if you reuse the cot. Just pop a cover on them and replace as necessary.

Downstairs she has her own chair! upstairs she has a HiK9 with a duvet over the top for summer sleeping and then in the winter she goes under the HiK9 into her den (as the top duvet covers the whole HiK9) which has another duvet in!

Tuffies are great. My partner offered to buy Bertie one but I said no at the time, as I’m not just yet rather than never as previous labs have chewed their beds and I just thought they are too nice and expensive to wreck.
I bought a cheap option. A Bunty waterproof bed and I have to say I was pretty impressed with it. I can spray it and wipe clean if needed and it’s just quite nice. I’ve put a fleece crate pad in the bottom so it’s easy to wash and feels a bit nicer!
I got large and it was £30 ish! Really good value.
In fact I got two so he and out other dog has matching!

I gave up on dog beds and bought a cot mattress from IKEA for my Rottie. She has a duvet on top to nest with and I have rested one end up at an angle so she can lean her head against it. She's a bit odd.....

Cost less than £30.
