I have a 26yr thoroughbred, he’s currently on the feedmark bespoke for joint and breathing, he’s now upto the full dosage and decided he doesn’t actually like it!!!
When looking at other supplements they don’t have as much glucosamine MSM etc in them??
Any ideas what I could do or if there’s another supplement out there??
thanks ?

I used to feed Riaflex that has good quantities of everything needed in a joint supplement.

Or maybe try adding some dried mint to his current feed or I often use mint essence from the supermarket a few drops is often all you need and there is no sugar added either so it's not bad for them.

I did a fair bit of research about a year ago, I found that if budget isn't an issue then Science Supplements is the one to go for. Most of the other 'mixed' supplements had very poor levels of ingredients in comparison. See Dr David Marlin on FB who has a good video to explain understanding the level of ingredients.

I went for Newmarket - it's just glucosamine but I'd rather be feeding a decent dose of one ingredient than a mediocre dose of various. It's probably the most affordable option.

My boy is on the Science Supplements too. He eats it fine whereas he wouldn't eat the Feedmark one. They're fairly similar in terms of the amounts of ingredients in them but the SS has a bit of added flavour to make it more palatable I think. Pricewise I think they're both pretty similar, although obviously you'll get a discount for doing the Feedmark bespoke mix.
