Trying to sell pony with no luck - help!!

Bit of advice please!! I'm advertising a lovely straightforward childs competition pony, who's done everything from PC & BSJA to hunting, and I'm having absolutely no luck - no calls, no nothing - is there nobody buying at the moment?? I've checked and checked and she seems an ok price in comparison to everything else - she's on horsequest, is there anywhere better to advertise her?

Put her on pony club website... I had lots of calls form this site... I had my pony on horsequest, horsemart , horse and Hound loads of fress sites... but hardly any calls... tehn put her on PC webby LOAds of calls and sold in a week

Have you contacted your local Pony Club DC to see if there is anyone looking?

Maybe you could say you're open to offers rather than giving a concrete price? That might encourage more people to come and see her, and then when they've fallen in love with her you can get them to pay what you were originally asking anyway.

Really I don't know why I'm giving advice here, as I've never bought or sold a horse... so feel free to ignore me completely.

there is this website and it is brill. Its £17.50 i think to advertise but it is on for 3 months. Oh it doesnt just do scotland it just thats where i am so look at the scotland section it does all over.

Thank you - I'm trying to get hold of my local DC at the moment, and I'll try the Pony Club website as well - does anyone know how much it is to advertise on there? I was so hoping she'd spend a summer having fun doing rallies and shows and things, I feel so sorry she's just stuck here with me when all she wants to be doing is wizzing around and jumping things and making a small childs summer!!

Have you also tryed the bsja website im not familliar with them but do they do advertising horses for sale?

PC website aswell...
when selling my pony, done everything- polo,hunt,PC the lot...no luck with H&H,horse qeust (got all the wrong ppl from there) put him on PC website- loads of calls..sold him to THE perfect home

put your pony there, you should get some calls.

Is she registered with a breed society? I had huge sucess selling a connie on the British Connemara Pony website - about 25 phone calls in a week - sold within 4 days of the advert....!
