Trying to trace anyone with a Criccieth pony from the Brightwell sales May 2011

Hello

I am aware that the large lot of Criccieth ponies that went through the Brightwell sales last May (2011) made the headlines and caused a huge stir on this and some of the other forums.

Whilst I don't want to raise the subject again I am keen to find anyone who has a lovely, happy ending to share about any of these ponies.

I have recently acquired one of them to avoid her being sent to her fate - Criccieth Lareena - her story as I understand it has not been a happy one (that I know) and this is certainly displayed by her behaviour the poor love.

Looking forward to hearing from anyone :-)

my friends got a criccieth pony however not from sales

she is really sweet pony who loves hugs and attention and she streat with my friends daughter and other little kids
 
I was at the sales but managed to keep my hands in mypockets!

Tbh I thought there was a bit of hype surrounding their condition. They weren't ready for the shows but IMO most just looked a bit 'feral.'

Glad yours has found a good home :)

Can you tell me anymore information please ? It might help me to understand her issues and behaviour. I was under the impression the previous owner (whether or not that's you) left her at a yard a friend is at and if she wasnt gone within a few days, her fate was the slaughterhouse along with a pony stallion too ? I was also told she had been beaten :(

Hi Clare. Wasn't accusing you just explaining what I was told. Can you pm me any info-what was she like while you had her?
