May I ask for some help from those who show, please. I've just looked through the stuff I was given at the TSR clinic this morning and noticed that I have been "talent spotted" as a "stella star". I've had a look on the internet and can see there are age categories (no OAP group sadly) and Stella is the advanced category but I'm still not really sure what this means. Any help would be really appreciated. TIA

Oh well done. We were picked last year. What happens is nearer the time - the final is at the TSR show in July - you get asked to apply. 10 in each age category are selected plus a couple of reserves. At the final you do a ridden test which is freestyle not to music with certain set moves and an in hand showing bit. We were selected for the final 10 last year in the over 40 age group but my horse was poorly and we had to withdraw. Did you enjoy it? Sarah is lovely.

Yes I did. Rose was a complete star (well stella star!) and took everything in her stride. I think what Sarah liked about her is that her natural paces are very good and she's very pretty (I am biased of course). What a pity you didn't get to to go, what sort of horse do you have ie cob, hunter etc?
