I'm hosting a one day workshop for dogs on TTouch in Dalbeattie, South West Scotland on Saturday 28th April.
The Tellington TTouch is a teaching method for dogs and other animals that incorporates bodywork, and ground exercises where appropriate to improve co-ordination, balance, and athletic ability whilst deepening further communication and understanding between the animal and its owner/carer. TTouch helps increase levels of self-confidence and self-control.
TTouch is widely used around the world by animal lovers and people who work with animals. It is not necessary to learn the whole TTouch approach to help the animals in your care. Learning just a few of the body TTouches by working with a trained Practitioner or attending a workshop can make a difference to an animal's life.
At this workshop you will be given a basic introduction to the various TTouch techniques - what it is and what it sets out to do, how to do the bodywork (hands on) and how to do groundwork (working with obstacles, body wraps, balance leash etc).
The cost for this one-day workshop is £35 per person with or without your own dog (including lunch and refreshments) and spectators are welcome to attend for £10 per person (including lunch and refreshments).
