My boy gets very tucked up when his been stressed or just got very excited i.e. when his been out jumping. After a competition I always make sure that he is kept warm, gets fed properly i.e. salt etc but he still remains so for a good few days afterwards. Anybody have any ideas as to what I can give him or do - I'm at a bit of a loss or do I just accept that's what he does?

Thank you in advance for any words of wisdom.

My horse gets tucked up sometimes despite not being a comp horse or doing much in life, bless her. It happened a lot when she first arrived with me, before I brought in her field companion and her neighbouring pals would come and go. She is just stressy! Have found since I started feeding her dengie healthy tummy she has been so much better and I haven't seen her looking tucked up. She has had a total attitude overhaul in fact! I am not sure what it is, I think it must be the protexin prebiotic, or the alfalfa as I suspected she might have a mild ulcer or some other stomach trouble... Either way she's great now!
