Hello

I am planning to purchase a pair of these lovely boots (see here: http://www.tuffaboots.com/index.htm?ac=B3768-C), but would first love advice from those who already have them on the following:

- Are they really waterproof?
- Do you think they would be tough enough to cope with being a boot-of-all-work for use every day?
- Is the sizing very generous, like the Suffolk boots? Normally take a 39, but wondering whether to go a size down for these boots (nowhere near sells them so going to have to order online)...

Would be very grateful for any advice on the above, and any other comments you have.

Many thanks!

I have the tuffa norfolk boots and they are very comfortable both to walk and to ride in,but my only problem with them is that the sole has come away on one foot along the inside of the boot and this happened after less than a years use.I keep meaining to take them to get fixed but so far keep forgetting to do it.

Thanks for your post Spike123. So Tuffas might not be that tough then... hmmm. It's so hard trying to find blimmin boots - they all seem to have one defect or another!

Think Surrey Equestrian do them both and have a sort of Q&A on each, think if I remember rightly the Suffolks come up really big so they recommend a size smaller but the Norfolks come up true to size but have a look on their website. I am hoping Father Christmas may bring me the Suffolks!

Thanks CLY. Have had a quick look at Surrey Equestrian's website, but can't find the page you mean. Will go have a more detailed search now. Cheers!
