Tuffa Suffolk boots price

I've got a pair and got them via eay from Windermere Equestrian. However, they've hardly lasted. Got them last December and by March both feet had got holes in across the top where they bend under your toes.

I had some (not wide) & **couldn't** get them waterproof! They were s'posed to be waterproof when I got them & weren't, & I tried proofing cream, wax, spray & dubbin, cleaning them properly each time first, & they never were waterproof. We're not talking deep mud either - just walking on a wet verge with dogs.

In the end, I got fed up with them, sold them on eBay & got some Toggi something or others (look a bit like duberrys/dublins) which were only £90 ish & ARE waterproof! Not sure if they come in wide.

I bought some a while back - really didn't want to hear they don't last! :(

I've had mine for 3 and a half years now ;) The lining has now died a bit, and I've had to put new inner soles in them, but they are still going strong. I wear them daily, drag them through mud and rubbish and they're doing well!

Use URAD waterproofer on them, have to do it more regularly than I ever used to, but they're still alright. Reckon they'll need replacing after this winter, which will take them up to 4 years old.

Sorry, doesn't help the OP at all, but might reassure others!

I've got Tuffa Suffolks. They've never been waterproof, or even 'dewproof', despite layers of Dubbin and other pots and potions. Mine have also gone all saggy and baggy round the ankles. It pains me to look at them in fact!

I paid more than £170 for mine (I'd save your money if I were you).

Ive had mine 6 plus years now (although mine are full leather and not nubuck) , each year i re-proof them and they are just about on their way out, i do have a new pair i got on ebay in summer for £105 (you need to get them out of season to get a bargain!) but i dont want to get them dirty so keep wearing my old ones!
