Hi
Know it is not strictly CR - but thought you guys might have seen these in use or have got one fitted - full post is in Stable Yard - would appreciate opinions

I have a very old one in an ifor, but its not the one that can be released from the outside (that's the mark II)

So useful when you are on your own and the ability to whizz it up has stopped me from getting trampled by our particularly bargy mare who only goes to the stud once a year!

This will totally solve the rushing out backwards problem as they are secure before you leave their head.

The only thing I have done is started to drive off once at a show after forgetting to put the ramp up (would often load then and leave ramps down for the air flow

Hi

We seem to have solved the rushing out when we are loading problem.. although would still be really handly to have this for when I am short of people to help.. it is the unloading where we have the issue .. as said, he is getting much better but still can start to try to get out when someone is partially undoing the back bar.... this is where I think it might be helpful as at least it means I can operate the back bar release without someone being behind him...
Does the bar release immediately when you want to undo it from the front, of slowly go down?

pmsl re the driving off with the ramp down... did that once with a lorry ramp... was tricky to close.. thought it was completely shut, but wasnt....nad after we had been driving for a mile or so decided to drop down ! .luckily did not scrap on the road as springs were quite strong... but the horses had nice fresh air for a couple of mins

luckily it was hunting in northumberland.. so was not a busy road

The tui bar is essentially a big U shape

More like |___|

So the front does whatever the back does. Mine can get a little of shape occasionally so when you lock and click in the back part I usually have to exert a little pressure to bring the front down further to get it in its hole (not much and no worse than faffing with lorry partitions)
