Tummy noises - how loud and frequent?

My mare seems to have the loudest and most frequent tummy noises of late.

Her digestive system has always been audible but recently it seems to have turned up the volume somewhat.

Whilst we are in winter in Sydney, she has ad-lib hay to replace the limited grass in addition to her two feeds a day. Tummy noises seem to be constant regardless of the time of day.

No changes to her feed so not sure what could be causing this or whether I should be concerned

I know that no gut sounds is bad. I’ve had horses who have sounded like washing machines and been fine.

How is she in herself?

I make a point of being familiar with all my horses "normal" gut noises. My mare's sounds like a fabulous under water duet with a bassoon and t-rex, while my boys tend to be fairly quiet.
If your mare has a naturally noisy stomach I wouldn't be too concerned. Have you changed her diet recently? Is she otherwise well in herself producing healthy poos? Again I make a point of knowing what my horse's poos look like in case there are any changes (god how did I ever manage to attract a man?!?)
