Hi all, as title really. Has anyone had an experience of their horse having a small tumour on the third eyelid?
Vet is recommending removal but has not confirmed if its cancerous yet. How would they do this?
Treatment would be removal at the yard under local anaesthetic and then up to Liverpool for radiotherapy for a few days.
Any experiences good or bad please.
I have no idea whether to go ahead or leave it, but am obviously guided by vet and Prof at Liverpool.
It's caused him no bother for years and I thought it was just a little wart, which I suppose it could still be. It doesn't encroach on his eye or vision whatsoever and won't spread to other organs. However, it may grow inward to the brain and nasal passages.
Thanks all
