I was doing some ground work with my young horse today, he just had a halter on and I was asking him to walk on, back up,move over etc. and praising him when he did as asked. He started to salivate and and one of the livery owners said this was a good thing which meant he was starting to tune in with me and be happy to do what I asked of him. Has anybody else heard this before or have any thoughts on it. He is generally:cool: a good boy but does have a stubborn streak and can be a bit bargy at times!
