Hi iv put my 23 cob on turmeric he has very bad leg problems ligament problems arthritis in hocks coffin joints hes been on it week and a half he acting like a thee year old bucking not able to walk anywhere jog trotting but never in a straight line any one else tried it any success or feedback from others would be lovely Thanks in advance

Mmmm, this is interesting; fantastic in fact! I've heard of it being used for arthritis and mobility difficulties in humans but not in horses!

What was the dosage you used please OP??

Hi i bought it from Asian spice shop im given him 2x 10ml of turmeric mix with linseed oil about 5ml each hes coming out the stable on his toes where before he was so stiff before hes become quite an exciting ride to say the least.

Ah! I hadn't thought of going to an Asian shop; we don't have too many of these in the rural Westcountry , but I THINK I might know of one in Exeter which is my nearest town!

Was this a daily dosage?

yes that's the daily dose spilt into two feeds you can give double this but i don't think i would stay on board

It works better than any supplement I've tried for my mare with arthritis, and on my arthritic boxer dog.
I am always telling people how effective it is.

Is it safe to say that it might be better than boswellia?
My girl is on boswellia but i'm not sure that it is doing much and I was thinking of trying turmeric if there were more success storied although I know all cases are different.

I use it, from what I have read different horses react differently, its not a cure all but cheap and worth a try. I use premierflex, turmeric (small scoop, say 10ml) and linseed, he has also lost a bit of weight. I couldn't say which has done the trick but something definitely has!
