I am already on the Facebook page, just wondered if anyone could give me a quick hand.
Horse in questions been on Danilon for about 9 months after over the counter stuff stopped helping.
He's recently had a break from working (I say work he hacks lightly to help with mobility as advised by my vets) he's had his shoes off and I've stopped the Danilon to give his system a break.
I notice he's very much sound in the field, trots or canters over daily to be checked and fed. So I'd like to try him on turmeric now and see if I can do away with the danilon.
Can someone advise on how much of the oil, pepper and turmeric to start with?
Also is it best/easiest to make a paste, cookie type things or just add daily to his feed?
If I make treats to hand feed how do I keep them? And do they work as well with the pepper which I think needs to be freshly ground
Thanks x
