Turn out full neck rugs with a large neck.

Anyone got any suggestions for full neck turn out rugs with a large neck? I find most makes that I have tried are too close on my ID x TB. The Orican I settled on seems to have rubbed off half his mane, even with a Snuggy hood underneath that I thought would have protected it. He is orange and I know his hair seems to come out more easily than other colours but there must be some way of protecting his mane. Any thoughts?

Mark Todd rugs. I love mine on my show cob. Never had an issue with one rubbing manes and they are very deep.

I have an ID mare and recently bought a Premier Equine rug with neck and it fits fine, I usually have Mark Todd rugs which also fit well although PE are a more generous fit

The Mark Todd rugs are good and also the Premier Equine ones - have to say am a little disappointed with my Masta rug with detachable neck

Premier equine, I have both PE & Mark Todd, the neck is more generous on PE.

Have got a heavy weight Masta that I used on my Friesian which has a massive neck (not using at the moment as too big for both mine).

I have a heavyweight fixed neck masta on my mare at the moment and the neck is huge! And it has 3 buckles on the neck which I find a bit odd

Another vote for premier equine - I have a shire x who is hard to rug and these fit beautifully. And they are in sale at the moment too
