Hi all I was looking for some famous HHO advice...
Luca seems to come in daily with new cuts and marks on him, being a ginger they really mark and he's starting to look like he gets regular beatings! (I assure you he doesn't) This mornings latest is a cut on his corenet band added to the one at the top of his front leg and on his hock he got over the weekend.
I have checked the field and there is nothing in the field he can be hurting himself on. He is a playful fellow and only turned out with River (who doesnt wear shoes) and my friends gelding who gets a bit grumpy at all the 'play with me' antics...
Sorry for the essay - my question is - does anyone have any suggestions on what i can put on him to protect him a little bit whilst out in the field? I was thinking of turning him out in boots and a lightweight rug (though when I put one on in the rain it was ripped to shreds)
I'm really getting to the end of my rope on this one...
thanks guys
Tori
