Hello all,
Myself and my partner are relocating long distance from Scotland to Bristol next month. Organising the big move has been been a bit of a headache to be honest but hopefully things will come together!
I'm still in the process of finding accommodation for my two horses. One mare who is older and in work is spoken for. I've found a lovely DIY yard with some assistance for her, unfortunately they only had one space. My other horse is a gelded yearling. He's very well behaved and very easy to do - but is still a baby of course! I think what would be best for him would be to have some time in a nice herd to learn how to be a horse. Apart from when he was at his breeders he's only been with my mare who has been very good with him, but he needs to learn some life lessons.
I'd be so grateful if anyone might be able to advise anywhere in the Bristol/ South Glos/ North Somerset regions that might be able to offer turnaway for my gelding.
I'm quite apprehensive about sending the little man off somewhere for a few months or more as I had a very bad experience a few years ago with a retirement livery establishment up north.
Any thoughts would be hugely appreciated.
Many thanks!
