I have a small yard for my three horses and it consists of 2 large stables, a field shelter (probably built as a hay barn) and tack room. I keep all 3 in. . . The perfectly well behaved mare is in the shelter with full bedding and a slip rail.
I have noticed she has become considerably messy and even broken the rail. I think something is coming in at night and disturbing her which may be making her fret: she loves being in and in the day I have no issues
Any ideas of how to make it inaccessible to animals ie a fox?
-Cheapest possible ideas?
-would a gate work, boarded up?
