I'm thinking of turning my 16.3 warmblood gelding away for the summer (long story...). He will not be worked at all. Grazing is good, not lush.
He is in full work at the mo (light/medium, mix of hacking and schooling, average around an hour a day) and is in great condition, not fat. He currently gets Top Spec Comprehensive Feed Balancer with chaff but no other short feed.
Would you keep on with the balancer once he's turned away, or stop it? Or change it to something else?
