Turning out a fully clipped horse at night

No probs with a good rug.

What calmer you got him on?

He is on equi feast cool, calm and collected, but he certainly wasn't that on Sunday

When I first had him on it I noticed a huge difference, but now I'm not so sure, too paranoid to take him off it though, just in case it is doing something, can you imagine what he would be like without?!

my girl is mostly clipped and lives out generally in a heavy weight full neck but tonight she is out in a medium weight with no neck as its been fairly mild and she has been a bit too warm past day or so in full neck heavy weight
your horse will be fine, just rug as needed

Adrian's out 24/7, atm in a duvet plus a full neck FAL pro Goliath Ultimate Silver Interactive. Snuggys hood underneath it all if it's really cold. He has a field shelter, ad lib hay & when I feel under his rugs, he's always toasty warm. He is fully clipped apart from legs.

My loan horse is fully clipped and out in his spangly new Premier Equine Winterbuster and is as warm as toast, he can't live in as his leggies lock. As long as they have lots of fibre to help keep warm they are generally fine although if I turned my dressage poof out at night he'd expire!

Hunny - Berry is 23/24 and is out 24/7, rain or shine and is hunter clipped - though he has 1/2 a head and obviously legs, as that is a hunter clip ....

At night he wears 2 rugs (220gms and 350gms), during the day he has on the 350gm one and he is FINE!! I couldn't keep him in if I tried, he'd just kick his way out tbh!
