Does anyone else turn their horse out in the day in hoof boots, I am currently having to do this with my navicular horse as he is sore after having shoes nailed on!
Did try glueing eponas on which he liked but they wouldn,t stay on, so am now waiting for him to grow some foot before deciding what to do next?
I have two vets and one is saying to leverage test him and shoe again and the other is more keen to try barefoot again and should I stick with my farrier so that I have both options or get a trimmer?
My horse has been in his boots a month now but still comes in looking a bit sore, after being in over night looks fine again in the morning, I was wondering if shoeing him for part of the year might be an option, has anyone else been in this position as I don,t know what to do for the best!
