You would think the horses had never seen snow before! Well, admitedly Beano hasn't seen much of the stuff, but when Troggy turned them out this morning Toffee walked along with her chin on the ground and her mouth open, shovelling snow like a little digger! Beano just stood and stared, mesmerised by the whirling flakes and looking slightly stoned.

awwh! My little mare went mad! Walked on tip toes to start with whilst snorting at this funny white stuff and every now and then she'd leap in the air...obviously the snow was trying to eat her

Got her in the field and after a couple of minutes of fkat out galloping she decided the snow wouldn't eat her and settled down with her hay! Silly horse x

I like Toffee's idea...after all...it could be horse food falling from the sky!!!! LOL!
My boy was out at 6am so he was already out when it started snowing...too busy eating grass to care!
When I first had him he would go mad in the snow galloping about and bucking. You had to take his electric tape down as well because he would just gallop straight through it...now he does not bother too much. But he looks really cool when there is loads of snow down because he is jet black in the winter and the contrast is lovely...but I am biased.

Awww how cute!!

Archie was like that aswell, he kept snorting at it and rolling and rubbing his head in it! Then he proceeded to buck and squeal for ages

YO is keeping an eye on him for me in case he gets too stupid, then she can bring him in! But i spoke to her on the phone about 20mins ago and he was eating his hay which is good!

Its raining here now anyways

PMSL nawww bless um.

Well I got to the yard this morning and my boys greeted me as usual.
Sunny tho, OMG was going mental, i led him out and put him in his day box (as wasnt safe to use the walker IMO) but he continued to go mental (he trashed both stables arghh) so i put him out, he went mad, belting around the field whilst snoop and winston looked on.
After he had a good old roll he was then happy to go back to his day box and have his hay.
BLOOMING HORSE

Mine couldn't care less about it - they just see snow as having to eat nothing but hay (and feed) for a few days on end which they find a bit boring. Whenever I go to see them they all mill about round me wanting me to entertain them!

My TB x hates it. He hates nothing more than snow actually falling from the sky! His head is literally on the floor and when I try to take him in, he refuses to walk with it in his face. He makes such a fuss.
