Hello!
Just looking for a bit of advice!
I have a TB that is just coming off 4 months box rest. I have started by putting him out with 3 horses that he already knows for a couple of hours each evening. Before box rest he had only ever done day turnout. I chose to put him out of an evening as there were 3/4 new horses in the day group he had never met before and he was being sedated initially.
The night turnout worked well with my working hours, as he would go out 5.30-8 ish but now I want to start increasing up to 4/6 hours, but dont want to be coming down to the farm at stupid o clock to bring in!
I suppose I am just seeing if anyone has gone from box rest to night turnout before or will it be too hard to increase his hours and day turnout would be best!
