Turnout boots for mud fever

I've tried the Equilibrium ones with my chestnut mare and they were worse than useless. :( Mud got in from the bottom, I was constantly trying to get them clean and dry and then to top it off - they rubbed her.

I then tried Muddy Marvel barrier cream and it's fantastic. None of my horses have had any mud fever since I was recommended it. :D

I only apply it twice a week (nice and thick, from the fetlock down to the coronet band) on dry legs. I never hose legs off, I would go for a ride/walk in-hand (avoiding mud and puddles ;) ) and then brush the dry mud off once I was back at the yard. Then apply the cream - simple. :)

Excellent, thanks! I've been recommended sudocrem and vaseline too but that looks a bit more substantial :) Will try it!
