My boy is super clumsy out in the field so usually atleast has lightweight hind brushing boots on and cheap rubber over reach boots as he could make a living out of pulling shoes. I had WW kevlar boots in front as they are light weight but they rubbed his "delicate" skin ;)
Trouble is he's destroying the boots and constantly ripping and loosing the over reach boots...

So can anyone recommend me some over reach boots for turnout that will be stronger and more long lasting than the rubber ones but are not too expensive seeming as they are only for turnout?

And anyone know any good, breathable, lightweight boots for turnout that shouldn't rub?

He usually only gets night turnout here at Hartpury but when we're home he'll have a lot more at home.

Thanks :)

Kevlar over reach boots on top of rubber ones so his skin doesn't get rubbed? Can you speak to your farrier about whether anything can be done with regards to changing the shoeing, so the fronts are less likely to get pulled off? What about mud fever protection boots for turnout? Presumably they have been designed for extended periods of use and hopefully won't rub. Bear in mind that if the horse already has mud fever they will make it worse.
