As title please. My 4 year old, is a typical holigan, and has been coming in with cut on the inside of his legs, from brushing them.

So what are the best turnout boots?

I have the long equi chap type turnout boots. Not as good as brushing boots for brushing injuries but do protect the heel also. Main problem is mud. They get really damp and dirty and if they're too bad I wouldn't put them back on until fully dried. In fact I ended up taking them home every 2 days and washing them in the washing machine. I did break the washing machine within a short time though clogging it up! Whatever boots you use remember not to leave on for 24 hours a day.

Gaiters-thats the name of the brand not sure if there not a bit old school now, cant find them on net!
Equichaps are breathable and serious recomend! They also do brush boots of the same material!

Thanks will have a look at the equichaps.

Alimac19- i see you are from Cheshire, me too! Where abouts are you if you dont mind me asking?!

So i have looked at equichaps, how much did you pay for yours?? Derbyhouse have an offer of a free pair of stable chaps when you by the turnout chaps for £54.95 i have no idea if that is good or bad?
