I'm sure there was a post about turnout boots on here but cant find it anyway so sorry!!

I was looking in to getting some turnout boots but wondered what people recommended... I would like to protect against knocks and cuts predominantly but also mudfever. What brands do people have that they would recommend?? IN case it makes a difference I have a 16.3 TB with typical TB legs!!

I have all the TO boots under the sun !!

DH own brand field boots - Didn't rate them didnt cover the pasterns or heel (bonus if horse wears OR boots in field i guess ? )

Equilibriums Hardy Chaps - Good but not designed to protect from MF

Sportbac Turnout Chaps - Great for the money ( horse is actually wearing them now

) didnt slip and no mud has yet to get in/under/up them

Equilibruim Close Contact Chaps - Most expensive and they rubbed

Also tended to slip and tear easier (horse thinks shes a racehorse and hurtles round field

) also managed to roll up
